You want to come to IOPT for Physical Therapy.

Now What?

Massachusetts recognizes physical therapy as a "direct access" treatment option, which would allow you to come directly to our office. But, you would be best served by obtaining a "referral" or "script" from a physician. This will state that you could benefit from physical therapy services. Your referral is accepted at any physical therapy clinic. YOU CAN GO TO THE CLINIC OF YOUR CHOICE.​ (It's like a prescription for medication that you could take to any pharmacy. It's your choice.)

Your physician can fax a copy to our office (413) 992.2134, or you can bring it in when you come in on your first visit.
